American residents who are sharing music illegally might run into some internet issues with the new system which is being rolled out to crack down on copyright infringement. The system recognizes the ISP when it notices illegal sharing and sends a series of notifications which become progressively more severe and could cause problems such as slower internet speeds and required educational videos of policies.
