Gospel Gossip - Gospel Gossip

Local cats Gospel Gossip recently released a new self titled record. The band had a lot of buzz in the Minneapolis scene last year and is working hard to maintain that momentum by releasing a follow up record early this year. I think the band has some really nice tunes on this record that would appeal to a lot of listeners with sounds ranging from bands like beach house, to the distorted guitar parts characteristic of shoegaze. The reverb on the guitar rings across each track as the echoing vocals lay so perfectly over the top. All in all, it is a nice indie rock record that serves as nice afternoon listen.
