I recently came across a copy of Ambergris on vinyl by local psych rock group the Flavor Crystals. If you have not heard of these guys yet you need to check them out. They are a much overlooked local kraut rock sounding group. Knowing a member of the group personally these guys have a great background in both psych rock and kraut rock and their influences show in their sound. So if you have never heard of these dudes give them a listen and see what you think for yourself. Below Ambergris is available for listening and above is a video off of Ambergris for the song "Churchfuzz" made by a member from Black Mountain which makes for a pretty sweet homemade music video.
